Michigan State

G – Gary Harris

G – Bryn Forbes

F – Denzel Valentine

F – Zach Randolph

C – Draymond Green

Bench: Deyonta Davis, Matt Costello

The Spartans have four legit NBA starters and not much else. Having Draymond as a small-ball center, Harris handling the ball, and Z-Bo posted up on the low block will be exciting, but MSU just does not have the depth.

Oregon

G – Joe Young

G – Tyler Dorsey

F – Damyean Dotson

F -Dillon Brooks

C – Jordan Bell

Bench: Aaron Brooks, Chris Boucher

Basically the 2017 Oregon squad that made the Final Four, but with Young, Dotson, and Brooks. This is probably the worst team in the field, but I love their switchability on defense.

North Carolina

G – Raymond Felton

G – Wayne Ellington

F – Reggie Bullock

F – Harrison Barnes

C – John Henson

Bench: Danny Green, Marvin Williams, Tyler Zeller, Vince Carter, Justin Jackson, Ed Davis, Ty Lawson, Isaiah Hicks, Marcus Paige

UNC has a surprisingly complimentary roster. The individual pieces are not necessarily great, but they fit together well. They also have one of the deeper groups that would contend for a Final Four spot.

Syracuse

G – Michael Carter-Williams

G – Dion Waiters

F – Wes Johnson

F – Carmelo Anthony

C – Jerami Grant

Bench: Tyler Ennis, Andrew White, Malachi Richardson, Chris McCullough, Tyler Lydon

Cuse has the length to run their much-discussed zone defense. But the drop-off from the starters (and even MCW) to the bench is pretty bad. Their games would be must-see TV for Waiters fans.
