The Curry Division saw Louisiana Elite and We R 1 Basketball go 4-0 in the UAA opening session. Louisiana Elite won three games by a combined 10 points but managed to stay perfect through Dallas.

2020 point guard Jalen Cook was their leading scorer, averaging 15.5 points, 4.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game while shooting 38 percent from the field but 42 percent (10-for-24) for 3-point land. He’s got offers currently from Houston and Tulane University. 2019  guard Tra’Michael Moton was right behind him with 13.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting 56 percent from the floor and 47 percent (7-for-15) from the 3-point line. He’s not on many teams radar but that should change with a strong summer.

We R 1, last year’s UAA champion, went undefeated thanks to the play of Villanova commit power forward Eric Dixon and 2019 guard Isaiah Wong. Dixon poured in 19.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists.

Wong chipped in with 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game. He’s a combo guard climbing up the rankings with a number offers from the likes of Villanova, Miami, Cincinnati and Memphis to name a few.

Another player who shined was Jaden Springer from B. Maze Elite (TN). He finished second overall in scoring after the weekend, putting up 21.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.5 steals per game. He’s currently got 11 offers from Division 1 programs.
