ACC Basketball: Top Players From Each Team This Century, Part 2
By Logan Butts
Virginia Tech
Starting Five: Zabian Dowdell, Malcolm Delaney, Bryant Matthews, Erick Green, A.D. Vassallo
Bench: Jeff Allen, Jamon Gordon, Deron Washington
MVP: Green was better in his best season, but Delaney earns the nod for sustained greatness for the mediocre Hokies.
There were very slim pickings after the first four.
Wake Forest
Starting Five: Chris Paul, Justin Gray, Josh Howard, Jeff Teague, Al-Farouq Aminu
Bench: John Collins, Darius Songaila, Eric Williams, James Johnson, Ishmael Smith, C.J. Harris, Vytas Danelius
MVP: Howard was a very good player who turned into a great player his senior season, but Paul was explosive from day one and throughout both of his seasons.
I really like the balance of this group, although the strength certainly comes from the guard position.

Next week, the series will take a look at the Big 12, including two of my all-time favorite college basketball gunners: Jacob Pullen and LaceDarius Dunn.
