5. Marcquise Reed, Clemson

Marcquise Reed began his career with the Robert Morris Colonials in 2014-15, since then, he’s made a name for himself with the Clemson Tigers. Reed enters his senior season looking to lead Clemson to another NCAA Tournament berth. They look to make back-to-back tournaments after making their first appearance since the 2010-11 season.

He averaged a team-high 15.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game through 35 appearances. The 6-foot-3 guard’s role increased in a big way in 2017-18 after starting in zero games the year prior. He was awarded second team All-ACC honors after finishing 10th in the conference in points per game.

Reed’s role should increase even more as the unsung leader of the Tigers in 2018-19. He shot 35.4 percent from 3-point range, a number he looks to improve upon next season, and 43 percent from the field. After a season in the starting rotation under his belt, he should be a first team All-ACC candidate.
