4. Torin Dorn, NC State

6-foot-5 guard Torin Dorn was a big part of the NC State Wolfpack’s success last season. Dorn averaged 13.9 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists while playing the versatility role in the NC State rotation. The rising senior matched his career-high in points with 26 against Bryant University back on Nov. 14.

He’s the team’s top returning scorer after shooting 53.1 percent from the floor and 31.1 percent from 3-point range as a junior. Dorn posted four games of 20 points or more last season. The Wolfpack posted a 3-1 record in those games. They’ll be an athletic bunch, much like their 2017-18 squad, so look for Dorn to lead the way.

Dorn started in 32 of 33 contests for the Wolfpack last year and recorded three double-doubles as the Wolfpack finished with a 21-12 record. They have the NCAA Tournament on their mind once again and Dorn returns as their fearless leader. The Wolfpack are Dorn’s final stop after he began his career at UNC-Charlotte.
