2. Justin Robinson, Virginia Tech

Virginia Tech Hokies point guard Justin Robinson is prime for a big senior year. He pushed the envelope during the 2017-18 season, averaging career-highs in points per game (14.0) and assists per game (5.6). Robinson also 2.8 rebounds per contest while shooting 46.4 percent from the floor and 39.8 percent from 3-point land last season.

The Hokies have an opportunity to be a talented squad this upcoming season with Robinson leading the way. He was a second-team All-ACC selection for his performance as a junior. They made the NCAA Tournament last season, the first time in back-to-back seasons since the 1985-86 season.

Robinson returns as one of four starters returning for 2018-19. Add in Chris Clarke, their ever-reliable Sixth Man in 2017-18 then the depth of Ty Outlaw who was granted a sixth season of eligibility and Virginia Tech looks like a lethal group.

The ball will be in Robinson’s hands a majority of the time and he’ll have a lot of weapons at his disposal. His defense should allow him to push for first-team All-ACC honors this upcoming season. He’ll just need to produce.
