Miles Norris – Wolfeboro, NH

Forward | 6-foot-10 | 190 lbs | No. 73 overall

Leading off the recruiting class, Miles Norris is a 6-foot-10 power forward with tons of versatility. Because of his size, length, and athleticism, he projects as a solid defender who can play up to the center position when needed as well. While he might not be a lockdown defender at the moment, he has plenty of potential to develop on that end of the floor. Offensively, Norris is already quite polished as an all-around threat.

Although he needs to bulk up a bit in order to become a serious post scorer, Norris has a variety of moves around the basket that he can go to in order to score. However, what makes him so versatile as an offensive option is his shooting. Even if Norris is not a “knockdown” perimeter shooter, he has no trouble stepping out to 3-point range or burying a few mid-range jumpers. With his size and a high release point on his jumper, he can get his shot off at any time.

Norris is a smooth athlete in that he runs the floor well and makes incredibly athletic plays seemingly without breaking a sweat. If Norris is able to develop as a penetrator and creator, then he could be an incredibly dangerous weapon for the Ducks. He already possesses enough size and shooting ability to be a difficult defensive matchup for opponents but that could take him to the next level.
