Kansas Jayhawks

It’s a double-whammy for the other four teams in trying to land Robinson-Earl away from Kansas. Not only did his father play and has nothing but positives about the school, he lived right by throughout his childhood. Add to it that he can easily join the main rotation on day one for a title contender and home team and it’s not surprising that the Jayhawks are the clear favorites.

But it’s not 100% yet and that’s due to the Lawson brothers (KJ and Dedric). They each are transfers who have multiple years in college and are All-Big 12 candidates. If they stay another year, the minutes would be clogged up for even a five-star stud to deal with. That’s basically the only way that Robinson-Earl doesn’t go to Kansas, barring a massive surprise.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish

It’s a new era for Notre Dame after the graduations of both Bonzie Colson and Matt Farrell. A top-20 recruiting class featuring top-70 prospect Nate Laszewski. The team’s two star players (DJ Harvey and TJ Gibbs) will still be around if Robinson-Earl decides to join, forming a unit that could challenge for a top spot in the ACC standings.

The five-star forward would not only be the focal point of the team’s offense but still be surrounded by enough talent to be more than competitive in one of the top leagues in the sport. The Irish seem to be the odd one out of the group but underestimating Mike Brey is an unwise thing to do.
