2. Help UConn win the AAC tournament

Winning the AAC tournament is the way to get an automatic bid into the NCAA tournament. While the Huskies are not the favorite to win the AAC, Jalen Adams is probably the best player in the conference. If you have the best player there is always a chance.

Playing in your conference is always a challenge. They are the teams that study you the most and play you the most during the course of a college basketball season. Winning your conference is one of the biggest bragging rights in all of college basketball.

If anybody knows what it is like to win the conference tournament it is Jalen Adams. Adams was a freshman when the 2015-16 team won the Conference Tournament Championship.

Adams then did not have a big impact as he only averaged 7.3 points a game during that season. He was able to greatly impact the Championship game against Cincinnati. He scored 22 points and had eight rebounds. He ended up playing 43 minutes that game.

Having another chance to win it again is a good reason to want to come back and play for your team. Adams experience will be invaluable to the Huskies. Come Conference tournament time he will be ready.
