UConn Basketball: Goals for Jalen Adams going into 2018-19
1. Develop into an NBA Player
Adams said in a video he posted on Twitter that: “Another year of development and growth will prepare me for my ultimate goal, an NBA career.”
If Adams wants to make it to the NBA working with his coach will be big for his development. Here is what his coach said about Adams and his NBA dreams.

“He has the game. He has got the talent. I think he understands if he gets himself to 100 percent capacity, gets himself in the best shape of his life, locks in as a leader, works on his perimeter shooting, he has a chance to be player of the year in our conference.”
Adams will have to work on his 3-point shot. Last year he shot 32 percent from three. Forty percent and above is considered a good 3-point percentage. He will have to work on getting there. In games, he will have to set up open shooters for shots that will help him get easier looks at threes.
This senior season will be the chance for him to show his full capabilities at the college level. He will get the chance to be one of the nominees for conference player of the year, an All-Conference player and one of the players in consideration for the end of season awards. He will be able to put himself in the sights of NBA scouts. This season will help Adams’ career.
