1.  The emergence of Jalen Hudson

Jalen Hudson was making waves with the Virginia Tech Hokies back during the 2015-16 season, Since then, things have changed. He transferred to Florida in the 2016 offseason, opting to sit out the 2016-17 season due to transfer rules.

Hudson made his debut for the Florida Gators in the 2017-18 season. He led the team in points per game (15.5) while shooting 40.4 percent from 3-point range. He also put up 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.

Hudson put on quite the performance last season against the Gonzaga Bulldogs in the PK80 Classic. He poured in 35 points on 8-of-12 (66.7 percent) shooting from behind the arc in a 111-105 double-overtime thriller that saw Florida escape as victors.

After getting a taste of life in the SEC last year, Hudson should be poised to produce in larger quantities with the ball in his hand more. With Chiozza and Koulechov gone, all eyes will be on him to ignite the offense in 2018-19.
