4. Jim Boeheim, Syracuse

Jim Boeheim has spent his whole career as a head coach of the Syracuse Orange. In a game where evolution is happening daily, Boeheim has managed to change with the times and it showed in their finish in the NCAA Tournament last season.

The Orange made it to the Sweet 16 in this past year’s NCAA Tournament despite being given the No. 11 seed. They ultimately fell to an ACC opponent in the end (Duke), which isn’t bad considering their low odds to advance past the First Four.

Boeheim has a record of 1,027-371 through although the program was forced to vacate101 wins from 2004–2012 seasons due to NCAA violations. He’s seen 10 consensus All-Americans pass through Syracuse in his tenure with the program. As he enters his 43rd season and counting with the Orange, Boeheim looks to add more hardware to his trophy cabinet. He’s got five Final Four appearances and a national championship under his belt with Carmelo Anthony already.
