8. Gonzaga Bulldogs

Commits – 2: Watson (44), Ravet (195)

Current Rank: No. 14 overall class

Gonzaga basketball has been unbelievably consistent under head coach Mark Few. With 20 consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (and counting), the Bulldogs have emerged as one of the nation’s premier college basketball programs. Despite grumblings year after year calling the Zags “overrated”, the program has continued to strive towards more success, which including a Final Four appearance in the 2017 NCAA Tournament.

Looking ahead to the future, the Bulldogs look poised to continue their winning ways thanks to a hot start on the 2019 recruiting trail. Leading off the class, Anton Watson is currently ranked as a top-50 player in the class and brings a unique skill set to the table. He stands at 6-foot-10 but plays like a wing with his athleticism and shooting ability. He is incredibly fluid on the court and is still getting stronger. With an entire year left before he starts taking the court for Gonzaga, Watson should arrive with high hopes.

In addition to Watson, head coach Mark Few has secured a commitment from sharpshooting guard Brock Ravet. Although not the highest-rated recruit out of the state of Washington, Ravet was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in the state this past season. He may have faltered a bit on the AAC circuit this summer but he is still extremely talented.

2018 AAU Circuit Stats
