9. Isaac Likekele, Oklahoma State

Head coach Michael Boynton is just getting started on the recruiting trail after his first full season with the Oklahoma State Cowboys this past season. Boynton will welcome a solid recruiting class in 2018, led by point guard Isaac Likekele.

Likekele is a 6-foot-4, 205-pound point guard three-star prospect looking to boost the Cowboys’ backcourt for the 2018-19 season. He was originally signed to play for Fresno State, but the departure of head coach Rodney Terry to UTEP changed all of that. Ultimately he chose Oklahoma State over UTEP and Texas Tech.

Guards Jeffrey Carroll and Kendall Smith are both gone, leaving holes in the Oklahoma State backcourt but Likekele’s presence should fill at least one void. The Cowboys will need to replace their production so expect Likekele to play a role right away. He finished the team’s tour of Europe with 14 points, six rebounds and an assist to lead the way for his squad in a 93-49 victory over the Greek All-Stars. He’s been given the green light already and has capitalized on it, let’s see if it carries over into the college basketball season.
