10. Shaun Williams, Kansas State

The Kansas State Wildcats are a team on the rise in the Big 12 with head coach Bruce Weber at the helm. The team made a deep run to the Elite Eight in last year’s NCAA Tournament after going 25-12 in 2017-18. In 2018-19, they should challenge for the Big 12 crown with a strong class of recruits incoming.

Junior college transfer Austin Trice is one name to watch but 6-foot-1 point guard Shaun Williams is the freshman to keep an eye on in 2018-19. Williams ranks 228th in the nation and eighth in the state of Missouri as a point guard prospect in the recruiting ranks.

The Florissant, Missouri native chose the Wildcats over a number of top mid-major programs, now he’ll need to show he can play with the big boys in the Big 12. A former teammate of Xavier Sneed at Hazelwood Central High School, it helps Sneed is also a member of Kansas State currently, which should boost the team chemistry in the end.
