2. Help Oregon win games in the conference

The Oregon Ducks record was 23-13 when the season ended but the downside to that record was the fact that they went 10-8 in the conference.

There were games that they won that looked really good like the 94-91 win against the UCLA Bruins on Jan. 20 and the 98-93 win against the Arizona Wildcats in overtime. The Wildcats won the conference in the regular season and the conference tournament.

There were just too many games that they should have won that hurt their record in the conference. Games like the 66-56 loss against the Utah Utes on Dec. 29, the 76-64 loss against the Oregon State Beavers on Jan. 5, the 96-61 loss against the Stanford Cardinals on Feb. 3 and the 78-76 loss against the Washington State Cougars were the reason for a sixth ranking in the conference.

With Bol Bol leading the team in this next upcoming season the Ducks will be talented. That will help them win games that they should win. Especially games in the conference that they will need.

The way he can affect both sides of the ball by being able to block the ball and his total skill set in general will lead to consistent play during the season because he will not always have to score the ball to win games.

His size gives him the ability to rebound, make layups difficult for the other team and find cutters in the post or in double teams. Bol Bol should have success on the college level.

The Oregon Ducks ended up beating Washington State and Utah in the conference tournament and Stanford did not make it as far as them but if they take care of those games in the regular season then that may have led to an easier run in the tournament. Bol Boi will help in those tough conference games during the season.
