Before revealing the top 25, here are a few fun facts from the research:
- 134 programs did not make the NCAA Tournament in the last ten years, all of them were ranked 218th for the second portion of the formula.
- Utah had the widest margin from the best season (7th in efficiency in 2015) to the worst season (294th in efficiency in 2012).
- Loyola-IL (107th) was the worst team of the past decade that made a Final Four.
- DePaul (174th) was the worst power conference team.
- Grambling State was the worst overall team of the past decade, coming in dead last at 351st place.
