What to expect from Lecque

As mentioned above Lecque spent his summer taking the Nike EYBL by storm. He played for the NY Rens who also had another top 2019 recruit on their team in Kofi Cockburn. On that tour, the guard showed tremendous ability, and most of that ability revolves around how he can affect an offense in numerous ways. The guard is able to bring a quiet confidence about his game, which seems to also have a calming influence on any team he is playing on

The quiet confidence starts when seeing Lecque play. His court vision and overall basketball IQ show his ability to do almost anything on both ends of the floor. The point guard is deadly with a ball in his hands. When everything is going right for him, it is impossible to keep the guard out of the paint. When he is in the paint he can thread the needle with a pass or pull up for a quick jumper that he is probably going to make. To go along with the passes in the paint, Lecque is great at making cross court passes to lead to early offense.

The point guard is one of the most complete players in the 2019 class as well. He is engaged on the defensive end of the floor. One the EYBL circuit he never seemed to get outhustled and was always in position to make a play. The guard can block shots and rebound well enough to fill a stat sheet each night he takes the floor in Raleigh. Keatts has found his prized recruit and now has a foundation to build around.
