Key reserves

Morris Udeze
Udeze is the highest-rated commit in Wichita State’s class at No. 213 in the nation, and the 6-8, 240-pound big man is the most likely candidate to crack the starting lineup should Marshall decide to employ a traditional two-big lineup. He’s still raw but has a great deal of upside and can make an impact right away with his rebounding and athleticism.

Jaime Echenique
Another JUCO transfer, Echenique made his mark as 6-10, 220-pounder center at Trinity Valley before making the move to Wichita. He has the toughness Marshall loves from his big men, and that toughness and rebounding will earn him a good deal of minutes.

Erik Stevenson
Stevenson is a solid scorer and good shooter. Given Wichita State’s lack of proven offensive prowess, it won’t be a surprise to see him get a good deal of minutes whenever the Shockers are in need of an offensive spark.

Chance Moore
Moore will provide depth on the wing as another long athlete, but he doesn’t project to be anything more than a rotation player at this point.

Isaiah Chandler
Chandler will likely earn some minutes as the fourth big in the rotation because of his strength and that toughness Marshall covets, but right now, it doesn’t appear as though he’ll be playing a huge role.
