1. What will the starting lineup look like?

Guards Davion Mintz, Mitch Ballock and forward Martin Krampelj will return to the Bluejays starting lineup, but there will be two new faces this season.

Now in his junior year, Davion Mintz will start for his third straight season and once again he will captain the ship and run one of the most exciting offenses to watch in the country.

After his stellar freshman campaign, guard Mitch Ballock will be expected to fill a big role in the Bluejays high-tempo offense.

Krampelj is coming off another heart-breaking season after he tore his ACL in the 19th game of the season. He was one of the biggest surprises in the Big East last season, averaging 11.9 PPG and 8.1 RPG. Now recovering from an ankle sprain suffered in a team scrimmage, he is expected to be ready to go for the first game.

The question is, who will fill the two other spots?

Greg McDermott continued his success in recruiting transfers with the addition of former Rice guard Connor Cashaw. Cashaw is coming off a very strong campaign with Rice after he averaged 15.5 PPG and 7.1 RPG and he looks to make an immediate impact to the Bluejays offense.

Also in the fold, Sophomore forward Jacob Epperson and guard Ty-Shon Alexander will take on bigger roles this season. In addition, Coach McDermott will welcome three new freshman along with sophomore transfer Damien Jefferson. That gives Creighton seven underclassmen with promising futures which should excite all Jays fans.
