1. Free throw shooting

The Duke Blue Devils have had a lot of success this season in a lot of key areas, but one area of weakness has been their free throw shooting. The Blue Devils are shooting 66.8 percent from the free throw stripe as a team this season.

Of the nine players who have appeared in all 11 contests, their best free throw shooter is freshman Cam Reddish, who is 77.4 percent from the line. Freshmen duo R.J. Barrett and Zion Williamson are shooting a combined 66.5 percent from the free throw line. Barrett and Williamson are getting to the free throw line quite a bit through the first 11 games. Barrett is averaging 6.0 free throw attempts per game and Williamson is at 5.6 per contest.

The Red Raiders are bound to give Duke everything they’ve got and then some on Thursday night. If foul trouble and free throws come into play, the Blue Devils could find their current five-game winning streak in the balance.
