Does IU pass the eye test?

The answer to this question is an unequivocal “no” at this point in time. With only one win in their last 10 contests, the Hoosiers are failing the eye test in just about every way right now. And that is definitely saying something because their lone win during that stretch was an extremely impressive road performance against Michigan State. With that said, though, Indiana has lost each of its last four home games so they might not be poised to turn this ship around down the stretch.

When watching Indiana play, it is obvious that the team has the star power needed to consistently win games. Juwan Morgan and Romeo Langford may not be “Player of the Year” level competitors but they are more than capable of carrying the Hoosiers to their fair share of wins. When completely healthy, which has been very rare this season, it has been clear on occasions that Indiana can be a very good team.

The issue, though, has been the inconsistency of this team and its rotation so far this year. I know that many may blame head coach Archie Miller for this but it is not completely his fault. Indiana has had to deal with many injuries so far this season and that has made it difficult for the team to put it all together. In order to make the dance, though, they need to play better down the stretch.
