On the Bubble

Clemson Tigers

The Clemson Tigers four-game winning streak came to an end on Wednesday night against the Miami Hurricanes, 65-64. The Tigers looked like they were on the right track prior to their game against Miami, with a big 59-51 victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies this past Saturday but things didn’t go according to plan on Wednesday.

Clemson has been an intriguing team this season. At home, they’re 11-2 on the season and 4-1 in conference action. On the road, they’re 2-5 on the season and 1-5 in league play. On Saturday, they’re on the road against a Louisville team that’s trending upward.

It will be interesting to see if their experience as a unit will come into play here. At 5-6 in the conference, finishing .500 could get them in the NCAA Tournament, but finishing below it could put them on the wrong side of the bubble.
