Michigan is looking to keep their regular season Big Ten championship hopes alive when they host Nebraska on Thursday night. They sit a game back of both Purdue and Michigan State, but they play the Spartans to end the regular season on March 9th. If the Wolverines can win out they will at worst be tied with Michigan State for second place and if the Boilermakers trip up will finish tied for first.

They are in this position because they lost to Michigan State on Sunday afternoon, in a game that they led by six in the second half before going cold from the floor and giving up a big run by the Spartans. The Wolverines would shoot just 26% from outside after starting the game hot. That has been the problem for the Wolverines this year and it cost them against the Spartans. Even with their poor shooting performance, they were still in the game until the closing minutes. They also let Cassius Winston get going in the second half, and he propelled Michigan State to the victory.

The Wolverines welcome to town a Nebraska team that has lost nine of their last eleven games that included a seven-game losing streak. The Cornhuskers are desperate for a resume-building win and a win against Michigan could vault them into the NCAA tournament.

Michigan will look to win their last game at the Crisler Center and keep the pressure on the Spartans and Boilermakers to keep winning. Here are three keys for the Wolverines to come away with the win.
