13. Miami Hurricanes (12-15) (4-11 ACC)

Last rank: 13th (↔)

The Miami Hurricanes remain at their same position after losing a game in their grasp. They dropped a game on Tuesday night against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. They fell 76-75 on the road to the Demon Deacons despite leading for much of the game and getting 26 points from sophomore guard Chris Lykes. They were outscored 48-40 in the second half and as a team, they were outrebounded 40-31 when it was all said and done.

It was a rough shooting night for Dejan Vasiljevic as he went 4-of-15 (26.7 percent) from the floor in the Hurricanes’ loss. He led the team in scoring with 21 points on 7-of-15 (46.7 percent) shooting from the floor.

The Hurricanes have hit a rough patch this season and are currently 4-11 in league play. Jim Larranaga’s seat is safe for now, given their roster turnover, but he’ll need to improve things going forward. They’re another team without a road win in conference action. The Hurricanes will look to get out their rut on Saturday when they visit the Duke Blue Devils. Then on Monday, they’ll host the Pittsburgh Panthers.
