15. Pittsburgh Panthers (12-18) (2-15 ACC)

Last rank: 15th (↔)

The Pittsburgh Panthers have lost 13 games and counting entering the final weekend of the ACC regular season. They’ve lost their last three contests by 13 points or more, including a 73-49 defeat at the hands of the Virginia Cavaliers this past Saturday. The Panthers trailed the Miami Hurricanes, 36-31, at halftime on Tuesday night but were unable to make a run late to turn it into a victory.

It’s been a learning experience for first-year head coach Jeff Capel and company in 2018-19. The expectations weren’t too high for the Panthers coming in, so winning two more games than they did in 2017-18 is a bonus.

Pittsburgh will meet the conference’s other team on a losing streak, Notre Dame, this Saturday in their final conference game of the regular season. If they can get a third victory, it should give them some confidence heading into the ACC Conference Tournament.
