14. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (13-17) (3-14 ACC)

Last rank: 14th (↔)

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have hit a slump in their previous games. Their losing streak is up to six games now after a 64-62 loss to the Clemson Tigers at home on Wednesday night. The Fighting Irish had a chance to tie things up at the end at the free throw line but missed the second end of a 1-and-1.

Notre Dame has seen better seasons in the ACC, but for now, they can consider this season a learning experience. They lost senior guard Rex Pflueger at the beginning of the season with a torn left ACL in a win over Purdue on Dec. 17.

Since then, they’ve lost their way on offense, though, John Mooney, D.J. Harvey, T.J. Gibbs and Prentiss Hubb should all be back next season. Notre Dame has one more game on Saturday afternoon against the Pittsburgh Panthers. They may be able to snap their losing streak and finish the season on a high note.
