1. Get offensive contributions from players other than Jarrett Culver

Sure Jarrett Culver had a spectacular game against Northern Kentucky. His multi-faceted excellence was more than enough for the Red Raiders to pull off the win.

However, against a better team, even a performance of that level might not be enough. Especially considering the lack of offense that other players put forth in the game.

Against Buffalo, Culver will obviously need to contribute much like he did against Northern Kentucky. The only difference is, his teammates will need to play much better.

The only other Red Raiders in double-digits were Davide Moretti, who scored ten points, and Tariq Owens who had 12 points.

Moretti and Owens will need to, in all likelihood, score more than that if Texas Tech wants to beat Buffalo. Additionally, Matt Mooney and Norense Odiase will need to combine for more than just 13 points.

Buffalo can score in many ways, and unlike the Red Raiders, they’re more than just one-dimensional on offense. The Bulls will presumably be doing a good job of spreading the ball out on Sunday, and Texas Tech will certainly need to do the same in order to stick with them.

Jarrett Culver obviously makes a big enough impact in his own right, but in order for Texas Tech to win, it can’t be just Culver for 40 minutes straight on the offensive end.
