Wake Forest Basketball: Looking ahead at Demon Deacons 2019 recruiting class
Top targets
Cole Anthony recently trimmed Wake Forest off his list of final schools but that doesn’t mean they have to panic. Two spots remaining on their roster and offers floating out there for Olivier Nkamhoua, Issa Muhammad, Dearon Tucker and Josaphat Bilau.
Nkamhoua is a 2019 power forward that’s seen his recruitment grow a ton this year at Bishop Walsh (MD). As one of the best available bigs in Maryland, he’d make a solid addition to the Deacons’ 2019 class with his ability to score and defend down low.
Muhammad is another power forward in the 2019 class that’s grown Division 1 interest this past season. He holds offers from Wake Forest as well as Clemson, Georgia Tech and Florida among others. It will be interesting to see where he ends up as an emerging frontcourt prospect.
Tucker holds just three offers from Hartford, Baylor, DePaul and Wake Forest after spending his final season at Legacy Early College Prep (SC). He’s a top unsigned senior in the state of South Carolina and would be another solid addition for Wake Forest down low.
Bilau is a French native which holds significance given Jaylen Hoard and Isaiah Mucius roots. Manning has built his own network with France the past recruiting cycles and it wouldn’t be surprised if he secured Bilau. He’s a player with a 7’2 wingspan and traditional big man skills.
