DJ Jeffries

While he and Kidd-Gilchrist play a completely different style with Jeffries being a scorer he is the No. 2 option behind Wiseman. Memphis was lucky to pick him up over Kentucky who was close to them. Jeffries according to 24/7sports is rated as the 47th player in the class. He is a downright scorer who in his senior year in high school averaged 24.4 points per game. He is someone that if you need points that is who you go to. The best part about Jeffries is that he is in that range where he could stay another year whereas someone like Wiseman is almost a for sure lottery pick in the 2020 NBA draft.

Jeffries and Wiseman I think are going to be filthy together, as one of them has the size to be a beast on defense and the other is a lethal scorer that should translate well to the next level. As good as the 2 of them are going to be for Memphis they will need someone to dish the ball to them, and low and behold they have already signed a prospect that can do that.
