Alabama Crimson Tide

The Alabama Crimson Tide have four pledges already on their way in their 2019 but their most prized recruit on the board is Trendon Watford. The Crimson Tide have still maintained the 19th best class in the nation while hiring head coach Nate Oats. Oats has even managed to keep Kira Lewis Jr. around after he briefly entered his name into the transfer portal.

He’s got players from every position heading in next season, giving them plenty of depth in the backcourt. Watford’s addition would really put their class over the edge in terms of impact. He put up 18 points, seven rebounds, two steals and an assist in the Jordan Brand Classic this past weekend. He’s down to a final five of LSU, Memphis, Duke, Indiana and Alabama.

If they don’t get Watford, a solid backup plan is James Rojas, a 6-foot-7 small forward from Hutchinson Community College. He’s one of three Buffalo signees that were released from their LOIs when Oats took the head coaching job at Alabama. Rojas averaged 14.3 points, 5.8 rebounds per game as a JUCO All-American this past season.
