Micah Peavy – Pro Skills (TX)

National Ranking: No. 61

Quickly jumping into the top-100 of the nation, Micah Peavy showed why he is so highly-regarded. Despite the fact that he is not much of a 3-point shooter for a wing, Peavy was absolutely dominant when attacking the basket. In four games for Pro Skills, he filled up the basket to the tune of 23.2 points per game while converting on nearly 50% of his shot attempts. It was, though, a bit concerning to see that he shot just 20-for-39 from the free throw line. The attempt rate is great but he needs to become more efficient from the charity stripe.

In addition to just filling up the scoring column, Peavy also averaged 7.8 rebounds per contest, including recording at least two offensive boards in three of his four games. His playmaking was display with 4.2 assists per game as he led the team in all three major statistical categories. Oh, and his team also went 3-1 as a result.

Cameron Thomas – Boo Williams (VA)

National Ranking: No. 22

One of the top scorers of the session, Cameron Thomas was electric with the ball in hands. Whenever Boo Williams needed a bucket, he was the man for the job and came away scoring more points than minutes played. That statistic really shows how spectacular he was during the session as he dropped in 26.8 points per game on efficient shooting slashes of .493/.500/.852. To put it simply, there was almost no stopping him when he got going.

He did not do much else besides score but his outbursts were a major reason why Boo Williams finished the session at 3-1. Thomas, who is a 6-foot-3 shooting guard from Oak Hill Academy, is already highly-regarded by recruiting services and is being targeted by some of the top programs in the nation. He has all of the tools necessary to be a high-level guard right away at the college level and should continue to attract attention over the next few months.
