Big 12 Basketball: Oklahoma and Oklahoma State among best uniforms
By Adam Childs
10. Baylor Bears
Baylor’s colors are green, gold and they use black a lot also. Not listed anywhere is a highlighter green color. Yet they use that color all the time, including for a full uniform and not just the words and numbers. They have seemed to come to their senses a little with their new football uniforms. We can only hope that rubs off on the basketball uniforms, but for now, we are looking at the uniforms they just wore for the past season and they are brutal.
If you look at the picture at the top of the page, the green that they should use is around the collar. It’s a shame because that green with black has the potential to be a great color combination. If they would just stick with that green on their jersey they would be much higher on this list and actually would have one of the best uniforms in the country. Instead, they decided to use glow-in-the-dark green and they have the worst.
The font of the letters and numbers is nothing fancy but it works, except you can see the colors from space. If you haven’t already gotten the idea the letters are bright. But then again not as bright as this. I honestly don’t care what they do with the rest of the uniforms. They wear that and they have the worst uniforms in the Big 12 and maybe the country.
They need to stop trying to be fancy or Oregon and just go with what looks good. They don’t look good and they are using more and more. Like we said earlier hopefully they take a cue from the football team and get back to their actual school colors. Do that and they could move up this list. Until then, they will sit at the bottom and it isn’t even close.
