Florida Gators

Florida has been one of the more consistent teams in the country over the last several seasons. Of course, the program’s brightest days are now a decade old (back-to-back titles) but head coach Mike White has done a nice job leading the way as of late. As an emerging star on the recruiting trail, the Gators’ future looks extremely bright with him at the helm. The incoming 2019 recruiting class is currently ranked at No. 7 in the country and the coaching staff is obviously selling a strong pitch to highly-rated recruits.

The next two schools in this list are mainly seen as the favorite to land Boston at the moment but Coach White might have something else up his sleeve. Florida has one of the best young cores in the nation right now and the expectation should be that the majority of those pieces stick around for several years with a few exceptions leaving early (such as Scottie Lewis). It is reasonable to anticipate that Florida will bring in a very strong 2020 class and Boston could be a headlining piece.

The Gators, in my opinion, are on the verge of a big-time season in 2019-20 as they look to build on some recent successes both on the court and on the recruiting trail. After landing a top-10 class for this coming season, Boston could be the start of another elite class. Is Coach White building another recruiting powerhouse in Gainesville?
