3. Cam Reddish

Cam Reddish is known as a good two-way player, but he really struggled to live up to the hype shooting the ball on the offensive end. This was a Duke team that really struggled to shoot and they needed him to be better than he was and that’s why they were unable to reach the Final Four.

During his freshman season, he averaged 13.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per game. His shooting struggles are for real, but he has shown he can make a big impact on the defensive end as well.

If he is going to live up to the hype in the NBA and become a good player he has to be a better shooter than he currently is. At Duke, he made just 39% of his two’s and 33% of his three-point shots, but many are confident that he can improve upon that number at the next level.

His offensive game has to improve, but he has had some big-time performances that have been very impressive. One of his best performances was in a win over Florida State on the road in which 23 points on 9-15 shooting including 5-8 from three-point range, most notably his game-winning three-pointer as time expired.

The Cavaliers have a solid young core, but they need to continue to bring in talent to go forward with for the future. Reddish is a good player, but he isn’t the Cavs ideal candidate. They would’ve been fine with either of his Duke teammates, but they didn’t get the lucky lottery bounce they’re accustomed too. At this spot, Reddish is still a solid pick as he has a chance to become a really good two-way wing.
