Cole Bajema

Class of 2019 – No. 106

Cole Bajema is the only current 2019 commit for Michigan. A dangerous 6-foot-7 wing with the ability to knock down trifectas with consistency, Bajema fits the modern game tremendously well. Although he might need to add some muscle bulk before becoming a collegiate star, the potential is there with his height and a silky smooth jumper. Bajema is at his best when operating in off-ball situations but he is also constantly improving as a shot creator.

Even with the coaching change, Bajema is still signed to play in Ann Arbor. This could change depending on how the relationship grows between the recruit and the coach, but Bajema should be a top priority for Coach Howard. He seems to fit perfectly in this era of basketball with his ability to stroke it from distance and he could develop into an excellent four-year player with the right coaching.

Considering he is still committed, it seems likely that he will remain with the program as the main recruiting pitch could have been centered around the school rather than the coach. He is the only player currently signed for Michigan’s 2019 class and he needs to remain in the future plans. Bajema is a fringe top-100 recruit and he could make a major impact as he already brings a strong skill (3-point shooting) with room to develop.
