Matt Cross – BABC (MA)

PF | 6-foot-6 | 205 lbs | No. 227 overall

BABC (MA) has struggled, as a whole, throughout the EYBL season. The team holds just a 1-12 record and has had a hard time finding a rhythm on either end of the floor. With that said, though, power forward prospect Matt Cross has played quite well in the frontcourt. An excellent rebounder with blossoming all-around offensive skills, he has been a focal point of the team throughout the spring. During the EYBL Dallas session, he recorded a 20+/10+ double-double in every single game.

Across the five contests, the talented forward averaged 25.0 points, 12.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. He simply made an impact in just about every facet of the game while also showcasing the ability to occasionally step out and knock down a 3-pointer. Although perhaps a tad undersized at the moment, it is hard to overlook his production, even on a struggling team.

Cross also already holds a number of scholarship offers. Indiana, Penn State, and South Carolina are among the high-majors in his recruitment and that number should grow as he continues to show his strong all-around game.
