Malik Hall – Wichita, KS

PF | 6-foot-7 | 190 lbs | No. 58 overall

Another frontcourt piece of the future, Malik Hall is ranked inside the top-50 of the 2019 class and looks poised to find a role right away with the team. He might not be a starter but he is simply too talented to not play this season. Hall should definitely find a reserve role from Day 1 next season at either forward slot. With a very well-rounded skill set, Hall projects as a player who should be successful in multiple different situations.

When evaluating Hall as a prospect, it is hard to determine exactly who he will be as a player. Throughout his career to this point, he has been used in many ways and his well-rounded skill set is obvious. He does just about everything well although he might not have one specific elite skill. Hall can be a strong playmaker, shooter, and defender when on the court with the ability to impact each game in a number of ways. He has the potential to be an all-around star in the future with continued development.

Hall is, in my opinion, one of the more college-ready incoming freshmen in the country. His well-rounded game should be able to make an impact right away as a strong reserve for the Spartans during this coming season. Finding playing time on a preseason top-5 team returning plenty of talent might seem challenging but he should be able to do so.
