2. Terence Davis – Ole Miss

2018-19 stats: 15.2 ppg 5.8 rpg 3.5 apg

The Suns have been going after college freshmen for years, with the overall results less than satisfying. So why not go after a four-year senior with three seasons as a full-time starter on his resume?

Terence Davis averaged over 13.8 ppg the past three seasons and development into a quality passer this year. His shooting took a nice jump as well, making 37% of his three-pointers taken. The 6’4 guard played all three perimeter positions for Ole Miss and could defend at three at a high level as well.

The All-SEC Rebel improved in all facets of his game but he still was being overlooked, not even making the initial NBA Draft Combine list. But he dominated the G-League camp and has seen his draft stock risen ever since. Now nearly guaranteed to see his name called on draft night, don’t be surprised if Davis sneaks his way into the first round.

His ceiling may not be as high as say, a Luguentz Dort but Davis is much more likely to make an impact out of the gate. He adds versatile depth on the perimeter for the Suns and could be a “3 and D” contributor off the bench. For a young team in Phoenix, it would be a good thing for the team to add someone with more basketball experience than just pure raw talent.
