10. Utah Utes

Utah has been an underrated program on the recruiting trail for the past several years. Even though they are rarely mentioned among the “elite” recruiting programs, the Utes are consistently landing solid recruiting classes. With two early 2020 commits, including one ranked in the top-75, this program is once again on its way to a strong group. Head coach Larry Krystkowiak has only led the Utes to two NCAA Tournaments in eight seasons with the program so this class will hopefully be the one to take the program to the next level.

Shooting guard prospect Ian Martinez is clearly the top-rated commit at this point. Ranked at No. 57 overall in the class, Martinez has been on a steady rise in recruiting rankings and should continue to put up a great summer. With continued improvement, he could find himself as one of the top players in the 2020 class. Martinez will likely be the crowning jewel of this recruiting class for the Utes but he is not alone.

In addition, the coaching staff also landed another shooting guard in Mason Falslev. An elite 6-foot-3 athlete who was also a football prospect, Falslev is very intriguing. He is an above-average playmaker, solid shooter, and reliable defender. He could take an LDS mission before taking the court for Utah, so he might not don a jersey as soon as the other commits from this class.
