8. Nebraska Cornhuskers

Nebraska is off to one of the most underrated starts on the recruiting trail so far this year. Even though head coach Fred Hoiberg was a recent hire, he did an incredible job retaining two fringe top-100 commits from the prior coaching staff. With these highly-touted wings still in tow, the Cornhuskers should get off to a strong start under Coach Hoiberg. It is also important to mention that this coaching staff should also be superb at landing elite transfers.

Sticking with the recruiting class, though, local product Donovan Williams is the most exciting addition for most fans. Out of Lincoln, NE, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard is ranked at No. 97 overall in the class and should be immediately impactful. He did tear his ACL in late April but the expectation is that he will make a healthy recovery and prove to be a valuable asset for the Cornhuskers by the time he arrives on campus for 2020-21.

6-foot-5 small forward D’Andre Davis is the other piece in this recruiting class. A monster riser in recruiting rankings over the course of this summer, Davis is all the way up to No. 107 overall. While playing for Indy Heat (IN) on the EYBL circuit, he is averaging 17.8 points (.408/.340/.869), 6.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game across 13 contests. He has been particularly impressive.
