4. Xavier Musketeers

It is no secret that Xavier head coach Travis Steele is one of the top recruiters in the country. Even though the program lost an elite sideline leader in Chris Mack last offseason, the recruiting has not suffered in any way. Even though Coach Steele still has some development to do with regards to his in-game strategy, he is bringing in some elite-level talents. With regards to his early start on the 2020 class, Xavier already has two top-100 commits for the future of the program. Both of them project as major contributors in the backcourt.

At the forefront of this duo is point guard prospect Dwon Odom, who committed to the program near the end of last summer. Odom has seen his recruiting ranking fluctuate tremendously to this point but he is currently ranked at the No. 60 overall prospect. Odom is a superb athlete and is developing his all-around game. He excels at running in transition and getting into the paint, but can still improve as a 3-point shooter.

The other early commit for the Musketeers is C.J. Wilcher, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard from New Jersey. Ranked as the No. 91 overall prospect in the class, Wilcher brings a well-rounded game to the table but his best skill is clearly 3-point shooting. He is an elite perimeter threat and that should translate quite well to the college level as well. Wilcher will be a strong scorer with the Musketeers.
