Johnny Davis – La Crosse, WI

SG | 6-foot-4 | 185 lbs | No. 137 overall

Johnny Davis is currently the top-rated player in Wisconsin’s 2020 class and it is easy to see why. An elite three-level scorer at 6-foot-4, Davis has been skyrocketing up the recruiting rankings as a result of a great summer. The Badgers were heavily involved in this recruitment from very early on and they always seemed to be in the driver’s seat to land the in-state product. Although he is still ranked outside of the nation’s top-100, there is a strong possibility that he will see more love from recruiting services in the near future. He is simply an extremely talented player with star potential written all over him. Davis projects as a major four-year impact player in Madison. He should see significant minutes from Day 1.

Jordan Davis – La Crosse, WI

SF | 6-foot-4 | 180 lbs | No. 369 overall

Jordan Davis committed to Wisconsin at the same time as Johnny. Although not nearly as highly-ranked as his brother, Jordan has potential to be a successful player with the Badgers. He is a great athlete at 6-foot-4 and has the potential to emerge as a solid 3-and-D threat on the wing. Although there is definitely still room for improvement, Davis can knock down the three with some consistency and has the ability to potentially defend multiple positions at the college level. While his superstar potential is not all that high, he could emerge as a solid rotation piece for the team. If he is able to become a “star in his role”, that would be a strong result for the wing. He is well-built and athletic – the coaching staff can definitely work with that.

Lorne Bowman – West Bloomfield, MI

PG | 6-foot-2 | 180 lbs | No. 153 overall

Lorne Bowman was Wisconsin’s first commit in the 2020 class. A strong, well-built guard from the  Great Lake State, he projects as a bulldog of a guard. He typically plays a ground-bound game but has the ability to impact each matchup in a variety of ways. He can defend multiple positions, create for others, and shows the ability to score at all three levels. Bowman is ranked around the top-150 in the composite rankings and should continue to hover around the spot. He is a rock-solid floor general and will likely be a major piece for Wisconsin throughout his career.
