NCAA Basketball Recruiting: Top prospects take official visits over Labor Day
2020 top-45 prospect Adam Miller visits Arizona and Arizona State
Highly regarded 2020 guard Adam Miller has recently taken official visits to Arizona (Aug. 28) and Arizona State (Aug. 30-31). The 6-3 combo guard has also taken officials to Louisville and is slated to take a trip to Illinois on Sept. 13. Besides those four schools, Miller is also said to be considering Northwestern, Chicago State, North Carolina State, Wake Forest, Kansas, and Missouri.
The Peoria (IL) native is expected to be leaning heavily towards Illinois, although ASU is also heavily involved. The Sun Devils have made strides in each of coach Bobby Hurley’s four seasons at the helm, winning 20 games in each of the last two campaigns. ASU made the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2013-14 as the Devils won a dozen Pac-12 contests, marking the first time that they have accomplished that in 10 years.
Arizona State could use some help in the backcourt next year with the loss of Luguentz Dort to the NBA after last season. Remy Martin and junior college import Alonzo Verge will be seniors in 2020-21. The only other scholarship players that the Sun Devils are projected to have on its roster next year is Elias Valtonen, a highly touted recruit in 2018, and incoming four-star freshman point guard Jaelen House, as well as 2020 commit Marcus Bagley.
Miller is a versatile two-way guard who possesses good athleticism and is a solid shooter. He is also a good scorer and strong passer. Miller is a consensus four-star prospect and is ranked between 26-45 in the class.
