AAC

Emmanuel Bandoumel, G, SMU, Quebec City, QC

Isiaha Mike, F, SMU, Scarborough, ON

Isiaha Mike put together an excellent first year at SMU in 2018-2019 after transferring from Duquesne. Among all of the players highlighted, Mike’s potential ranks near the top. At a long 6’8 and 200 LBS, Mike’s game screams versatility. He was top four on SMU last season in Field Goal Percentage, Free Throw Percentage, Three-Point Percentage, Points Per Game, Rebounds Per Game, Assists Per Game, Steals Per Game and Blocks Per Game. In addition, being the second leading returning scorer for the Mustangs, Mike has the opportunity for an All-Conference bid this season in the AAC.

A-10

Jordy Tshimanga, C, Dayton, Montreal, QC

Bahaide Haidara, G, George Mason, Montreal, QC

Anthony Longpre, F, St. Joseph’s, L’Assomption, QC

Matt Grace, F, Richmond, Hamilton, ON

Nathan Cayo, F, Richmond, Montreal, QC

Nathan Cayo is the perfect complimentary piece for an improving program at Richmond. Alongside a high usage guard in Jacob Gilyard and skilled big in Grant Golden, Cayo was a combo forward, able to play a multitude of roles offensively. He had the biggest jump in scoring from 2017-2018 to 2018-2019 in the entire A10, jumping from 2.3 PPG to 12.9 PPG. Improving his jump shot could be the next step in his evolution as a player. With himself, Gilyard and Golden all returning this season, they form one of the best Big Threes in the A10.

WCC

Jahbril Price-Noel, G, Pacific, Scarborough, ON

Sabry Phillip, G, San Diego, Edmonton, AB

James Jean-Marie, F, San Diego, Montreal, QC

Miguel Tomley, G, Santa Clara, Surrey, BC

Jaden Bediako, C, Santa Clara, Brampton, ON

Josip Vrankic, F, Santa Clara, Toronto, ON

Josip Vrankic quietly put together one of the best seasons in the WCC last season, and with Rui Hachimura and Brandon Clarke of Gonzaga departing, is on the shortlist of best big men in the entire Conference. While playing on a below-average Santa Clara team, he was second on the roster in points and rebounds. He is a steady presence in the post and started to develop a decent 3 point jump shot as the season progressed. He will undoubtedly have another big season ahead for the Broncos, as his consistency and efficiency is unlikely to waver in his Junior season.
