Returning players give the Lancers a solid foundation

CBU returns a solid foundation of that 16-15 team from a year ago including leading scorer and top scorer in the WAC 6-3 junior guard Milan Acquaah. The transfer from Washington State enjoyed his first season in the WAC averaging 19 points, five rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game. Joining Acquaah is 6-7 senior forward De’Jon Davis, the Oakland, California native was also a conference leader, in rebounding, snatching 9.2 per game with 10.3 points as well.

Others returning are Bul Kuol a 6-7 forward who played in just 10 games last season, but was very productive during the five-game stretch in Australia and center Glenn Morison and guard Micah Robinson who both saw limited action last season.

While they both sat out last season, guard Ferron Flavors, Jr. who starred at Fairfield two years ago, averaging 12 points per game, the 6-4 Flavors, Jr. was also the second-best in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with 95 makes from beyond the three-point line. Omar Lo is a 6-9 210lb. forward from Los Angeles who should play a significant role in the Lancers’ frontcourt rotation this season. Acquaah and Davis give Cal Baptist one of the best 1-2 punches in the WAC.
