Key #1: Terrell Brown needs to be a playmaker

Terrell Brown needs to be able to make plays for the Redhawks and cause the Cougars to be uncomfortable. He needs to take initiative and lead the Redhawks. Every team needs a guy they can go to when they need a score and Brown is the Redhawks guy who they will rely heavily on. The Redhawks had a huge lead in their first game against the Lutes of Pacific Lutheran and they need to play well in order to keep up and/or beat the Cougars.

The Pac-12 is going to be a good conference this year. No team in the Pac-12 should be taken lightly and expect the Pac-12 to have a few times have their name called come Selection Sunday. Washington State went 11-21 last year and was 2nd to last in the conference with a 4-14 conference record. The Cougars are looking to improve this season and make moves to be competitive in the Pac-12 but it all starts with non-conference.

If Terrell Brown can score, look for a possible upset in Pullman. With the record of Washington State last season, don’t be surprised if the Cougars lose Thursday night. Brown has to be a leader in order to get a W.
