Key #1 – James Wiseman

Wiseman will need to be a factor from the beginning. After scoring 28 points on their first game, they will look to him in the post to make some big moves and help out down low. Wiseman, the No. 1 recruit in the Class of 2019, is Hardaway’s biggest recruit in his two years at the helm of Memphis. If Wiseman gets going early for them, UIC is going to have lots of problems trying to contain him and keeping him from scoring.

Hardaway is a big physical body who can not only score but rebound the ball as well. He has the ability to score putbacks with ease and cause a lot of trouble for UIC defenders. Think of Wiseman as a Lamar Jackson, it’s hard to figure out what he is going to game by game. Whether UIC trys to double him down low, he can dish the ball out to his teammates and create opportunities for them to score.

Wiseman is a winner and is going to do whatever is possible to get a win. Don’t be surprised if Wiseman grabs some alley-oops from his teammates and gets some highlight plays for the Tigers.
