6’1 175 G KK Robinson – Bryant, AR/Oak Hill Academy

(247Sports 4-star, national #72)

KK Robinson‘s stock took off more than nearly anyone in the country over the summer.  Fresh off a 6A State Championship run at Bryant, KK had a big summer on the Nike EYBL circuit that boosted him into the national top-100 and led to several Power-5 offers.

He is a smooth lefty with great length that can score at all three levels, distribute, and defend at a high level.  His ability to run the show or play off the ball should be appealing to Musselman who loves players with positional versatility.  Pairing him with Moody and Davis would create a dynamic young backcourt that could cause major problems in the SEC.

Robinson transferred to Oak Hill Academy for his senior season and has been heavily courted by the likes of Kansas and TCU in addition to Arkansas.  Any time a player leaves the state, and any time Kansas is involved for that matter, it is natural for people to get a little worried.  However, it appears that Musselman and the Razorbacks are very much in the driver’s seat for KK.

Arkansas has several “crystal-ball” and “future-cast” predictions for landing Robinson, who plans to make a decision sometime around Thanksgiving.  He has expressed a desire to play with good friend, and recent Arkansas commit, Moses Moody.  In fact, the two made their official visits to Fayetteville together where Robinson said the chances of both he and Moody coming to Arkansas as 70-75%.  Well, Moody has already joined the party. Will KK be next?  I believe so.
