NCAA Basketball: Top 15 Junior College impact transfers so far in 2019-20
15. AJ Bramah – Robert Morris
JUCO school: Sheridan College
2019-20 stats: 10.9 ppg 8.1 rpg 1.4 apg
Although he’s 6’7, the forward Bramah has been relentless on the boards. He leads the Colonials in rebounds (second in points as well), with a current streak of 10 straight double-digit games. With the Northeast Conference not having a true heavyweight this year and Robert Morris already at 2-0, Bramah will have a lot to play for.
14. Sean Sutherlin – New Hampshire
JUCO school: Sheridan College
2019-20 stats: 14.5 ppg 8.7 rpg 3.2 apg
One of the top stat fillers in the mid-major world, Sutherlin leads New Hampshire in both rebounds and assists, while also being second on the team in points. He had an epic performance in the overtime win against Bryant, going for 21 points and 20 rebounds. The 6’7 guard/forward has played a major role on the 7-7 Wildcats, already two wins better than last year’s horrific campaign.
13. Ruot Monyyong – Little Rock
JUCO school: Shelton State
2019-20 stats: 11.4 ppg 9.5 rpg 1.9 bpg
One of the biggest program improvements has been with Little Rock, who already has matched last season’s total wins (10) while also being 4-0 and tied for first in the Sun Belt. Big man Monyyong has played a huge role, leading the team in rebounds and blocks. Already with seven double-doubles on the season and a couple of 20-10 games, look for the Trojans to have a pair of All-Conference players at the end of the season.
